MARKETING

Ads, branding, scripts, briefs, presentations, and other marketing materials I've created.

PROJECT - To create branding material for use with Texas Connect, a session of RootsTech.

ACTION - I designed the logo, YouTube banner, and a general-use icon. I also created an animated logo slide video intro.

RESULT - A cohesive brand look for the channel as well as colors and fonts to guide the creation of other marketing material, such as the flyers shown in the document.

PROJECT - To create a detailed social media presentation for a fictional company Morsl.

ACTION - I conducted a brand and demographic audit (utilizing research on similar existing cookie companies) and created audience snapshots, user journeys, creative strategies, improved branding, social media campaign with post previews, and recommendations for multi-channel marketing strategy.

RESULT - An on-brand, easy to understand synthesis of  company data and actionable marketing tactics to implement for performance improvement.

PROJECT - To advertise a new pie for Texas Pie Company. (The company is real; the project was fictional).

ACTION - I compiled a creative brief to determine aesthetic, tone, and messaging for the campaign. Then I gathered stock footage, filmed on-location footage, wrote a script, and produced a video ad. I also created ad mockups for IG and FB posts and stories.

RESULT - On-brand, eye-catching posts, stories, and a video ad with a clear call-to-action and clean designs.

PROJECT - To create three ads customized for three different personas for Aetrex brand shoes. (The company is real; the project was fictional).

ACTION - I fleshed out three unique personas and designed advertisements I thought would appeal to each persona.

RESULT - Tailored advertisements that catch the eye, communicate the intended message, and direct the reader to a clear call-to-action.

PROJECT - To present the results of an academic research project I designed in a way that is easy to understand.

ACTION - Synthesized large amounts of information, created data visualizations, and compiled everything into one report.

RESULT - A presentation that explains clearly and concisely the results of an academic research project about whether younger users adopt new forms of online expression more quickly than older generations. Good research and reporting of findings is key to a good marketing strategy.

PROJECT - To present my intended strategy for dispelling myths and misinformation surrounding OCD.

ACTION - I chose a goal and target audience, created personas and an intended transformation, chose key points with supporting data, and a call to action.

RESULT - A slide deck that communicated my intended strategy for preparing a public speech about OCD. Strategic slide decks may also be created for specific ads, broader campaign goals, or other marketing processes.

PROJECT - An evaluation of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) of an actual business that exists in Austin, Texas

ACTION - I researched the book stores offerings, identified some of its strengths and weaknesses,  identified some opportunities for improving revenue, and identified threats to its success.

RESULT - A presentation with clear and concise analysis and recommendations for improving the business. SWOT analyses may also be conducted on marketing tactics.

PROJECT - An implicit scoring model for an Adobe onboarding customer journey.

ACTION - I designed the customer journey, assigned values to my scoring model, and explained the way I set the model up and why.

RESULT - A clean and simple report that measures observable user engagement during the onboarding process. It provides data that can assist in knowing how to improve the customer onboarding process.
